COVID-19 UPDATE (revised 3/20/20)
March 20, 2020

Coronavirus (COVID-19) update

Here’s the latest update on Amphenol Aerospace’s actions in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

On March 18, 2020, New York State Executive Order No. 202.6 was issued stating that all businesses and non-for-profit entities in New York State shall reduce the in-person workforce at each location by 100% from pre-state of emergency declaration employment levels. However, essential businesses are not subject to the in-person restriction. This includes businesses with defense and national-security operations supporting the U.S. Government or a contractor to the U.S. Government. Amphenol Aerospace falls within this designation and is not subject to the in-person restriction.

Therefore, Amphenol Aerospace’s manufacturing locations (Sidney, NY; Nogales, MX; Mesa, AZ) remain operational. At the same time, we’re extremely cognizant of the health and safety risk to our employees as manufacturing operations continue at our facilities. We are experiencing some voluntary reductions in attendance, but do not, at this time foresee considerable impact in our output or deliveries. Additionally, Amphenol Aerospace has taken the following steps to mitigate the effects of the coronavirus (COVID-19) on our employees:

  • Mandating all non-essential employees work from home until further notice
  • Reducing employee density by relocating employees from crowded offices and suspending all non-business critical in-person meetings
  • Suspending of all employee travel until further notice
  • Performing temperature screening for employees entering the factory
  • Increasing janitorial services for more frequent cleaning
  • Limiting facility visitors for only critical issues or related to the day-to-day running of the factory
  • Engaging key vendors to ensure appropriate measures for assurance of supply of critical components and materials

To date, we have not had a confirmed case of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) with any of our employees.

We will continue to provide updates as the situation evolves. We are confident that by working together, we will manage through this challenging time. The health of our customers, suppliers, team members and their families remains as our top priority. Thank you for your continued confidence in and partnership with Amphenol Aerospace. Please refer to the Amphenol Aerospace website for the most up-to-date information on Amphenol Aerospace’s Coronavirus (COVID-19) status.
