BAE Systems Secures $440 Million Bradley Fighting Vehicle Contract

The contract calls for more than 200 new Bradley vehicles for the U.S. Army.

BAE Systems has secured a $440 million contract with the U.S. Army to produce more than 200 additional Bradley Fighting Vehicles.

 

The contract will focus on producing the new A4 variant. These upgraded Bradleys are equipped with advanced vehicle electronics, communication systems, and enhanced protection through the the Iron Fist Active Protection System (APS), which improves survivability against anti-tank threats.

 

The updated models will also feature improved electrical systems to support the increased power demands of the APS.
