Amphenol MIL-DTL-38999 Series II JT circular connectors are industry-standard lightweight, low-profile connectors for harsh-environment applications where space and weight come at a premium. These MIL-SPEC connectors feature up to 128 contacts in high-density insert arrangements with a three-point bayonet coupling system for fast and secure mating. Series II connectors are available in aluminum or stainless steel with multiple finish options.
D38999 Series II connectors were developed in accordance with the MIL-C-38999 specification, which was later superseded by MIL-DTL-38999. These connectors were born out of a desire in the 1960s to develop a ruggedized, high-density interconnect solution for military applications, particularly for the harsh environments of military aerospace. Optional backshells are available to provide strain relief in high-vibration environments.
