Korean Air has finalized an order with Boeing for up to 50 widebody aircraft, comprising 20 Boeing 777-9s, 20 Boeing 787-10s, and options for an additional 10 787 Dreamliners.

This agreement, valued at $24.9 billion, marks the largest deal between the two companies and is set to support the South Korean flag carrier’s ongoing integration with Asiana Airlines.

The aircraft are scheduled for delivery by 2033.

The new aircraft will be powered by General Electric's GEnx and GE9X engines. Korean Air also plans to procure eight spare GE engines, with options for two more, and engine maintenance services, amounting to an additional $7.8 billion.
