BAE Systems Secures $2.5 Billion Contracts with Sweden and Denmark for CV90 Fighting Vehicles

Agreements include 165 advanced CV90s equipped with new turrets; additional units earmarked for Ukraine.

BAE Systems announced on Dec. 6 contracts totaling approximately $2.5 billion with Sweden and Denmark for the delivery of new CV90 combat vehicles.

 

Under these agreements, Denmark will receive 115 CV90s while Sweden is set to acquire 50 units. The contracts also includes CV90 vehicles designated for Ukraine.

 

The new CV90s will be equipped with a new turret that brings an advanced design and improved functionality to the platform.
