Lockheed Martin Secures Contract for ATACMS Missile Production

The units are intended for Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Morocco, and Poland.

Lockheed Martin recently secured a potential $227 million contract from the U.S. Department of Defense for the production of Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS) missiles for international buyers.

 

The recipients of the missiles include Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Morocco, and Poland. The contract is set to be fulfilled by the end of 2028.

 

The ATACMS system, known for its long-range precision strike capabilities, features advanced GPS guidance and a 500-pound blast fragmentation warhead, with a range up to 300 kilometers. It can be launched from multiple platforms such as the HIMARS and MLRS M270 launchers.
